If you are reading this, you obviously love turtles and tortoises. We understand, we love ‘em too. And if you are excited about doing more than just having one or two (or twenty), that’s great!
We get many inquiries from folks wanting to join the Turtle Homes Alliance, and we are flattered and grateful for your enthusiasm….but the Alliance may not be the right fit for you. So we spent a little time to better explain just what makes someone a good candidate for the Alliance.
The Turtle Homes Alliance is network of individuals and organizations actively involved in rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, or conservation of turtles and tortoises. You would be an ideal candidate for the Alliance if you (or your organization) are currently and actively doing one or more of the following activities:
Now, if you just found out you aren’t a great fit for the Alliance, don’t be discouraged. The Alliance is a very focused group. But as an organization, Turtle Homes always has room for people who want to do more! If you have turtles, want turtles, need information, want to give information, or if you just want to chat with us about these creatures we just can’t get enough of – we’ve got the perfect place.
